Lessons from Surah Al-Baqarah

  • Use the Quran as the source of guidance\advise in all matters, this alone can lead to true success and happiness.
  • Faith and belief must precede and accompany all good actions.
  • Be constant in prayer (Salah).
  • Pray in the congregation.
  • Be ever conscious of the Day of Judgement.
  • Spend and share with others the gifts given by the Almighty (Money, Food, clothes, time, knowledge etc)
  • Maintain contact and do good towards parents and relatives that our prophet instructed us to visit the sick.
  • Live and eat with your spouse. Make him or her your closest companion in this world.
  • Speak kindly to all people.
  • Seek knowledge.
  • Remember, remember all the blessings that the Almighty has bestowed.
  • Trust in the Almighty’s plan, none can fathom His infinite wisdom.
  • Repent with the true regret and remorse after sinning.
  • Seek help from Allah, through patience, perseverance, and prayer.
  • Say Alhamdullilah, be grateful after waking up from sleep.
  • Eat pure, wholesome, and good food enter all places humbly.
  • Don’t complain about the food.
  • Don’t ask unnecessary questions.
  • Bear in mind the lessons from the Holy Quran, hold on to it with all strength.

 

Our success depends on our sincere efforts to the best of our abilities with the guide of Allah. It is the mercy of Allah that He does not demand results, Alhamdulillah. He is happy if He finds us making our best sincere efforts.
